Following the wrong God home.

For a change I’d like to see
All the things that you could be
Thought my judgment right all along
Turns out I was puppeted by your stupid song
Riddled with lies and contradiction
You weave tales of betrayal and fiction
Now, snared in this perpetual state of gloom
Seems that I’ve followed the wrong God home

There’s no masquerade, just a funeral march for love today.

Ahahaha succumbed to a game that played the role of the third party. But hell, the past’s the past. Anyhow I’m bushed, rarity that I’m back way before 10 eh?

A place where sunlight doesn’t reach
A creature whom the gods all ditch
A forlorn wish for a better day
A thankless deed that’d never pay
A remnant of a heart t’was never meant to be
A soul shrouded in the throes of misery
A bombshell-ridden sanctuary coined peace
A piece of heaven with a cruel twist
